Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal later.
  2. In a bowl, combine cocoa powder, sugar, flour, and salt. Pour in melted butter and add the eggs; mix until smooth.
  3. Spread half of the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until creamy. Add sugar, vanilla, and egg; mix until smooth.
  5. Dollop the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer and spread gently.
  6. Spoon the remaining brownie batter in small dollops over the cheesecake layer and swirl with a knife.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft. Let cool completely.
  8. Use parchment to lift the brownies out of the pan, slice, and serve.
