Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Creamy Lemon Garlic Herb Tilapia
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of extra virgin olive oil. Place the frozen Sea Cuisine Garlic & Herb Tilapia filets in the skillet, cooking for about 5 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown and are cooked through. Transfer the tilapia to a plate and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add more olive oil if necessary. Sauté 4-6 minced garlic cloves until fragrant, stirring constantly for about 1 minute. Sprinkle in dried herbs like parsley and oregano.
- Lower the heat and stir in 14 oz. of coconut cream, ½ cup of stock and juice of one freshly squeezed lemon. If using, add 2 tablespoons of white wine. Let simmer for 1-2 minutes, whisking to combine.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water in a small bowl. Pour this into the simmering sauce, whisking continuously for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
- Gently stir in 1 cup of chopped kale and the thinly sliced lemon, letting them mix with the sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the kale wilts. Return the tilapia to the skillet, carefully coating each piece in the sauce.
- Plate your Creamy Lemon Garlic Herb Tilapia alongside basmati rice or your choice of side. Drizzle remaining sauce over the top.
