Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a medium frying pot over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, scallions, and garlic powder to create a smooth filling.
  3. Place about 1 teaspoon of the filling on each wonton wrapper and seal them properly.
  4. Dip your fingers in water and brush the edges of each wrapper before sealing.
  5. Carefully lower the prepared rangoons into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Remove the rangoons and let them drain on paper towels before serving.
