Preparation Steps
  1. Rinse the cucumbers under cold water and pat dry. Slice into bite-sized pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Rinse the cherry tomatoes and slice them in half. Add to the mixing bowl with cucumbers.
  3. Finely chop the red onion and add it to the bowl with cucumbers and tomatoes. Mix well.
  4. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel, chop, and fold into the salad.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the salad, tossing gently to combine.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together ranch dressing and sour cream until smooth.
