- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cut bread into 1-inch cubes and layer half in the bottom of the dish.
- Layer half of the ham slices and half of the Swiss cheese over the bread.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half of the egg mixture over the first layer.
- Repeat with remaining bread, ham, and cheese, then pour rest of egg mixture on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for 15-20 more minutes.
