  3. Incorporate the chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, almond flour, baking powder, and salt into the wet mixture, stirring gently until a thick batter forms.
  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips if using.
  5. Scoop the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
