Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Take half of the croissant pieces and spread them across the bottom of the dish.
  3. Sprinkle half of the mixed berries over the croissants.
  4. Add the remaining croissant pieces on top and scatter the rest of the mixed berries over them.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and optional cinnamon until combined.
  6. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the layered croissants and berries and press down lightly.
  7. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes to absorb.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.
  9. Cool for a few minutes and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
