Step-by-Step Instructions for Frog Eye Salad
- Boil a large pot of water over high heat. Add 1 cup of acini di pepe pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 package of vanilla pudding mix with 2 cups of milk. Whisk until blended and let sit for about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, gently fold together the cooled fruit cocktail, well-drained mandarin oranges, and crushed pineapple.
- Add the prepared pudding mixture and the entire container of Cool Whip to the fruit bowl. Gently fold until coated, then fold in the cooled acini di pepe pasta.
- Stir in 1 cup of mini marshmallows, mixing gently until evenly distributed.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
