Cooking Instructions
- Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add your pasta and cook according to the package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes until al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking, then drain the pasta in a colander and set it aside, making sure to reserve a little pasta water in case you need to adjust the sauce's consistency later.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the chopped onion and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until it becomes translucent and fragrant.
- Next, stir in 3 cloves of minced garlic, along with a teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Cook for about 1 minute, stirring continuously until the garlic is fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, using a wooden spoon to break it apart. Cook the meat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it’s no longer pink and starts to brown.
- Pour in your marinara sauce, stirring well to combine it with the browned beef mixture. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and let it cook for approximately 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the sauce has thickened slightly, season it with salt and pepper to taste. Gently fold the cooked pasta into the skillet, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
- Finally, remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle in a generous amount of grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese melts into the pasta.

Notes
For the best flavor, adjust seasonings at the end. Save some pasta water to thin out the sauce if it's too thick after adding pasta.
