Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add rigatoni pasta and cook for 10-12 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add seasoned steak pieces, searing for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and bell pepper for about 5 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  4. Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream to deglaze the pan. Stir in blue cheese, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir for about 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  5. Return seared steak to skillet, along with cooked rigatoni. Stir to coat rigatoni with the sauce.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish and transfer the mixture into it. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving for a touch of color.
