Cooking Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add rigatoni pasta and cook for 10-12 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add seasoned steak pieces, searing for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and bell pepper for about 5 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
- Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream to deglaze the pan. Stir in blue cheese, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir for about 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Return seared steak to skillet, along with cooked rigatoni. Stir to coat rigatoni with the sauce.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish and transfer the mixture into it. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving for a touch of color.
