Preparation Steps
- Whisk together 4 large eggs and 1 cup of half and half until smooth.
- Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- Poke holes in the bottom of 6 King’s Hawaiian Rolls with a toothpick or fork.
- Soak each roll in the custard mixture for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
- Cook the soaked rolls for about 30-60 seconds on each side until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve with fresh fruit and maple syrup.
