Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Easy Lobster Tail
  1. Thaw your lobster tails in the fridge overnight if frozen. Preheat your oven broiler to high at 500°F (260°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Using kitchen scissors, cut down the shell of each lobster tail without cutting too deeply to keep the meat intact. Gently pull apart the shell to expose the meat.
  3. Melt approximately four tablespoons of unsalted butter over low heat in a small saucepan. Stir in half a teaspoon of garlic powder and keep the sauce warm.
  4. Sprinkle the exposed lobster meat with salt, pepper, and paprika. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
  5. Place the seasoned lobster tails on the baking sheet, cut side up. Broil them for 8–10 minutes, watching for the meat to turn opaque and lightly brown.
  6. Remove the lobster tails from the oven and drizzle with the remaining melted garlic butter. Serve with lemon wedges.
