Step-by-Step Instructions for Easy Lobster Tail
- Thaw your lobster tails in the fridge overnight if frozen. Preheat your oven broiler to high at 500°F (260°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Using kitchen scissors, cut down the shell of each lobster tail without cutting too deeply to keep the meat intact. Gently pull apart the shell to expose the meat.
- Melt approximately four tablespoons of unsalted butter over low heat in a small saucepan. Stir in half a teaspoon of garlic powder and keep the sauce warm.
- Sprinkle the exposed lobster meat with salt, pepper, and paprika. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
- Place the seasoned lobster tails on the baking sheet, cut side up. Broil them for 8–10 minutes, watching for the meat to turn opaque and lightly brown.
- Remove the lobster tails from the oven and drizzle with the remaining melted garlic butter. Serve with lemon wedges.
