  3. Combine the strawberry-applesauce puree with the unflavored gelatin powder in a heat-proof bowl, whisking until integrated.
  4. Using a double boiler, gently heat the mixture, stirring for about 5 minutes until the gelatin dissolves.
  5. Remove from heat and let the gelatin mixture cool to room temperature, stirring gently for about 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer the cooled mixture to a stand mixer and beat on high for about 15 minutes until fluffy.
