Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x4 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash 2-3 ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add 1/3 cup of vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 2 eggs to the bananas and mix until smooth.
  4. Incorporate 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar, whisking until integrated.
  5. Gradually sift in 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, stirring gently until combined.
  6. Fold in 1 cup of chopped Oreo cookies.
  7. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Mix 1 cup of powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of milk and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to create the glaze.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bread and optionally sprinkle with additional chopped Oreos.
