Make the Dough
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Gradually pour in the warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a soft dough forms, then knead for 6-8 minutes until smooth. Let rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
Prepare the Peach Filling
- Heat the diced peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a saucepan over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until thick. Stir in vanilla extract and let cool.
Roll and Fill
- After the dough has risen, punch it down and roll out into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, then mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top. Spoon on peach filling.
Shape and Slice
- Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a log. Slice into 12 rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
Second Rise
- Cover rolls with plastic wrap and let rise for 30-45 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
Bake
- Preheat oven to 350°F and bake rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Glaze and Serve
- Whisk powdered sugar with milk until pourable. Drizzle over warm rolls and serve.
