  • 4 cups Cabbage Napa or green cabbage preferred
  • 8 oz Shiitake Mushrooms or regular button or cremini mushrooms
  • 4 stalks Green Onions can replace with chives
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce low-sodium preferred
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil or use olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic fresh is best
  • 1 tbsp Ginger fresh or ground ginger

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping cabbage, slicing shiitake mushrooms, and finely chopping green onions. Mince garlic and ginger.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and ginger. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped cabbage and shiitake mushrooms along with soy sauce. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until cabbage is tender.
  5. Drizzle sesame oil and add sliced green onions. Toss gently and heat through for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately as low-carb or over rice for a fuller meal.
