  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon omit or reduce if preferred

  • 1 teaspoon Fleur de Sel sprinkle immediately after baking

Step-by-Step Instructions for Salted Honey Cookies
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine room temperature unsalted butter, vegetable oil, brown sugar, and honey. Mix on medium speed for 3-4 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing on low speed for 1-2 minutes until fully combined.
  3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, mixing on low speed until a soft dough forms.
  4. Portion the dough into rounded balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for about 1.5 hours.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the chilled cookie dough balls for 10 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
  6. Sprinkle fleur de sel atop each cookie as soon as they come out of the oven. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet.
