Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, pour in a splash of olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the chopped fresh spinach to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out your thawed puff pastry sheet into a rectangle measuring about 10x12 inches.
  5. Spread the cooled spinach mixture over one half of the puff pastry, then sprinkle crumbled feta over it.
  6. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges by pressing them together.
  7. Slice the folded pastry into strips about 1 inch wide and twist each strip several times.
  8. Arrange the twisted pastries on the lined baking sheet and brush the tops with beaten egg.
  9. Bake the twists for 15-18 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  10. Let the twists cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving warm.
