Preparation Steps
- In a food processor, combine 8 ounces of room-temperature cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of honey, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Blend for about 1 minute until smooth.
- Slice a French baguette into ½-inch thick pieces and dip the cut side into a few tablespoons of olive oil. Arrange on a baking sheet oil-side-up.
- Preheat your broiler to high. Broil the baguette slices for 1-2 minutes until golden brown, watching closely.
- Spread a layer of the spiced cream cheese mixture over each toasted slice while still warm.
- Layer thin slices of Fuyu persimmons, sprinkle pomegranate seeds, and chopped pecans over the cream cheese spread.
- Drizzle any remaining honey over the toasts before serving.
