Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by rinsing the peeled and deveined large shrimp under cold water. Sprinkle them lightly with salt and let sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine room temperature butter, finely minced garlic, chopped cilantro (or parsley), and homemade cajun seasoning. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  3. Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle in olive oil. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for approximately 1 minute or until they start turning pink.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and add the prepared cajun butter to the skillet. Toss the shrimp until they are evenly coated and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fully opaque.
  5. Serve The Best Cajun Shrimp over rice, in tortillas for tacos, or mixed into pasta. Garnish with extra cilantro or parsley.
